Our product has selective access based on the type of customer:
Professional / Qualified Investors: can open a Backed account for issuance and redemption of backed tokens.
Everyone else: eligible Backed token owners can open an account for redemption only.

We do not service entities or individuals from the following jurisdictions:
Iran, North Korea, Syria, United States of America, Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, Congo (Democratic Republic of the), Cuba, Ethiopia, Haiti, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Occupied regions of Ukraine, Philippines, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
Backed DOES NOT sell its tokens to U.S. Persons or for the account or benefit of U.S. Persons, and tokens are not marketed, offered, or solicited in the U.S.
To open a Backed account users need to go through a standard KYC process that includes:
Providing personal and financial information
Uploading identification documents
Passing a live video identification call
A Commercial Register extract or equivalent
Passport or national ID of the person opening the account
If the person opening the account does not appear as representative of the company in the company documents submitted, a board resolution authorizing the person opening the account to act in the name of the company is needed. A representative could also be, though need not be, shareholder/UBO
For an operating company: list all controlling persons
For a domiciliary company (non-operating): list all beneficial owners
Passport or national ID copies of all controlling persons and beneficial owners listed
If a subsidiary of another company, company documents of the parent
Passport or National ID
To get verified with video live identification call, make sure you have:
Passport or National ID
Working webcam and microphone
Computer with Windows or macOS, Chrome or Firefox web browser
For a passport: a color photo in PDF, JPEG or PNG.
For a National ID: If the document has two sides, photos of both sides are needed in two separate files.
